Terms and Conditions

General Points

  • 1.The minimum age of renting a Bike is 20 Years.
  • 2.Vehicles are provided with empty tanks (Enough fuel to reach the nearest Petrol Pump).
  • 3.All Challans issued during the trip are to be paid in full by the customer.
  • 4.In case of damage to the bike due to accident/mishandling/carelessness, appropriate charges will be calculated by the vendor and the customer is liable to pay the same to the vendor.
  • 5.In the case of theft, the customer is liable to pay in full the market rate of that product to the vendor. During the rental tenure, full responsibility of the bike is on renter.
  • 6.In case of any fault or failure the customer needs to inform Customer Support / Vendor immediately.
  • 7.Negligent, Drunk Driving, Over speeding (above 80KM/Hr) will attract a fine of Rs.1000.
  • 8.Booking of any bike is subject to availability. Rentnhop reserves the right to cancel any booking if deemed necessary.
  • 9.The renter is not authorized to lend the Bike to any other person without informing Rentnhop. In such cases the renter needs to verify documents of the additional Renter before the start of the trip. Failure to do so would attract a penalty of Rs 1000.
  • 10.Mentioned Security Deposit on every bike is mandatory. In case a customer refuses to pay Security Deposit, order stands cancel without any refunds.
  • 11.Pickup date/time and location cannot be changed once a booking is confirmed.
  • 12.The customer has to return the bike at the same location from where it was picked up. No requests will be accommodated for a change in drop location.
  • 13.General Servicing (Engine Oil Change, Filter Cleaning, Brake Check) is mandatory after riding a bike 1500 km by the Customer. This cost must be borne by the customer and proper invoice for the servicing is to be furnished on return. Due to non-servicing any issue arising in the engine would be paid by the customer. Additional fine of Rs. 1000 is applicable in such cases.
  • 14.Only the person who has made the reservation is allowed to drive the vehicle. Any discrepancy would attract a penalty of Rs. 2000.
  • 15.Accident / Damages to Vehicle must be paid in full at the time of return. In such cases the exact amount would be estimated by the Service Centre /Location Mechanic.
  • 16.Complete Engine warranty is covered by us. Wear and Tear (Puncture, Tyre, Brakes, Clutch Plate) and Electrical Fault damages will be borne by customers.
  • 17.The vehicle needs to be returned at the specified Date/Time as mentioned during booking on the website/invoice copy. Delay in dropping vehicles by more than 30min. Will attract a penalty of Rs 100/hr.
  • 18.Please call our Customer Support in case you want to extend the Booking. Your trip will be extended if the vehicle is available. Trip extensions are subject to availability.
  • 19.Extension requests should be made at least 4 hrs before the Drop-off time. Extension without informing us, will attract a penalty of Rs 100/hour + daily rental.
  • 20.As per the booking schedule, renter needs to return the vehicle on time. In case the customer doesn't accept or drop the bike in spite of a denied extension request, penalty charges of Rs 500/hr + daily rent of the bike will be applicable.

Warranty doesn't includes following:

  • Battery
  • Wear & Tear (Clutch Plates, Chain Sprocket, tyre, tube & brake pads)
  • Fuel Pump
  • Any Electric fault (Spark Plug, Relay, fuse etc)
  • Clutch & Accelerator Wire

Documentation

Documentation is mandatory for renting out vehicles from us. In case of failure to produce the same the reservation will be automatically cancelled and no refund would be issued.

  • Voter ID / Passport / Aadhaar Card to be submitted in Original. (Fake IDs would be immediately reported to the local Police).
  • Show and Verify Driving License in Original (Physical) or Digilocker App (Screenshot/Photo not allowed). Learner's License is not acceptable.

Security Deposit

Security Deposit is to be submitted in full at the time of pickup. This amount is mandatory and no deductions for Delivery / Extension etc. would be made from this. Failure to pay a security deposit will lead to cancellation without any refund. On return Security Deposit will be refunded within 30 Mins.

Trip Extension

Trip Extension is allowed basis availability for the requested tenure. On confirmation of availability, it is mandatory to pay the rental amount in full as informed by the agent. Trip extension made without payment/our confirmation will lead to a fine of Rs. 100/Hour + Daily Rent (Per Extended Day).

Cancellation

Cancellation Scenarios/Fees is applicable on all reservations. We work on a reservation model meaning all vehicles would usually have a prior reservation before and after your pickup/return.

Cancellations for below reasons would attract a cancellation fee equal to the Advance Amount paid for the reservation:

  • Cancelled prior or at time of pickup by the Customer.
  • No show at the time of pickup.
  • No /Partial/Fake Documents.
  • Minimum Driver Age not met.
  • Misusing Technical Glitch/Bug/Coupon on the Website.
  • Strictly No Rental Refund would be made after the Start of Trip/ Mid Trip Plan Change / Early Return of Vehicle.
  • Pickup-Return Date/Time, Vehicle Upgrade-Modification is allowed/not allowed on a case-to-case basis. This attracts a fee as informed by the reservation agent.
